We wouldn’t be anything without our people. We are fortunate to have some of the best folks on our team. We recognize that without each and every one of them, we wouldn’t be half the company we are today. Being a small business in a tiny, extremely rural community can be challenging, but we are thankful to be blessed with some of the best people who help make our job easy (as easy as taking pecans all the way from the tree to the table can be anyway ;)).
Justin and Jared Miller, owners of Miller Pecan Company, have always been hard workers with big dreams. But the secret to successful growth is delegating and finding the right people who can diligently work together to accomplish goals and deliver quality. As tempting as it is to do everything ourselves, that mindset isn’t sustainable, and we recognize that. Thankfully, we have some wonderful people on our team that makes our growth possible and strong.
It’s a family-type atmosphere at Miller Pecan Company. Whether you work in the office, or on the production floor, or in the retail store, there is a special feeling of respect and inclusion among all people. It’s the kind of feeling that makes the long days worthwhile and the kind of feeling that makes going to work enjoyable. We work diligently to treat our fellow team members with respect, kindness and genuinely get to know who they are and not just what they do. From mothers and sons to husband and wife to siblings, our family culture is strengthened by the fact that many of our team members are related in reality. So for our family-owned small business, you either are family, or it feels just like you are family.

This culture also encompasses our personable approach to serving our customers every day and the foundation of doing unto others as we would have others do to us. It’s the small things in addition to delivering unforgettable farm fresh pecans that reinforces our culture.
At the end of the day, we are only as exceptional as our people, and we believe that wholeheartedly.
